i seem to be having the most amount of stress trying to get a brand new copy of sof2 gold to run online.............can anyone give me some pointers??

When you are saying SOF2 Gold do you mean you downloaded the Gold patch lite or full? Or do you mean you bought the new SOF2 game with the Gold patch already on it? Well here are the steps to playing online.

Playing Online:

1. Open SOF2 Multiplayer
2. At The bottom of the screen after its loaded you should see some buttons click the first one. The one that looks like a arrow going down and a computer.
3. Set punkbuster on or off. If you have it off you can not playing in punkbuster enabled servers.
4. Choose one of the catagories multiplayer favorites or local
5. Then just click on a server that is not full and you will join it.
