The best way to state this is that on some servers my pc locks up. But not on all servers, I've down loaded the latest direct x file and updated my video card. Any suggestion would be great

Sof2 does not care about DirectX as it's an OpenGL game ;-)
I've taken my original website down. Let me know if you need anything from it.
sometimes the newer drivers can cause problems. so updating the graphics drivers can be a mistake. (not all the time 80% of the time its the right thing to do)
a good test is to install the drivers that came with you card and see if that works.
but you said it only crashes in "some servers" so it doesnt crash in all servers ?
