I know for a fact GODH included a read me on his Goldrush mod. You need to read those. They are important.

Although rocmod does not officially support bots. You have to get bot routes and paths from another mod and replace them in the correct created folders for them to work ... It is very difficult to find botpaths and so on for rocmod for custom maps as they use a different file system.
it can be done but there is work involved.

you are correct m8 GODH has included a lot of documentation with goldrush.
although to be fair most are cvar lists and stuff like that. (there isnt one for server set up, will speak to him maybe add one in the 2.2 release).
but all the settings are explained and you should be able to set up a server.
in the server.cfg file GODH has place notes next to each setting. set these to how you want your server to run. then in the console when you start goldrush type this in the console..
exec server.cfg
although it may be called goldrush_server.cfg
but you get the idea.:)
