Help with Gold update

Hello,

I'm trying to update my old SOF2 to the gold edition, I've downloaded the 1.0.3 patch and it seems to have installed fine. However, when I go to join a server the menu cuts to a loading screen and the message "bad UI system trap 179" comes up and I'm unable to connect to any servers.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm itching to play it,

Maybe something went wrong during the update? And which patch did you download... the update version or the full version? And when you start SOFII can you see "1.03" in your console (right side, under)?

It was the update patch, and no, can't see 1.0.3 in console, as long as I'm looking in the right place!!

But it definately comes up with the gold 'title'. I'm able to move through the menu options, but just can't seem to connect to server.

Where can I download the full version?

if u are updating the original game right upto the gold edition u will need to install the full version the update is for those who already installed the 1.02 update and dont need the full package just the extras

Yes, you only can use the update-version if you are updating from 1.02 to 1.03. You need the full version when you want to update an older version (1.00 or 1.01).
