Login Help Can't Connect To Server
 

i have a problem connecting to a server with sof2 gold.....
i do get my server list but i can't join a server.. i get the next thing in my screen: awaiting connection.. 1, 2 ,3 enz enz

so i can't connect and that's softly said not really nice :deal:

Am i the only one with this problem? or is there a solution to this problem if you know PLEASE tell me or e-mail me or whatever cause i can't play sof2 anymore :smokin:

there is probably something that the server is waiting to download to you, and you don't have autodownload on .

Some servers are also private, and thus may be password protected. But I would put Merrick's solution as a more common case.

Also make sure you refresh the server list, some servers may show in the server list but have gone off line...hence you are waiting for a connection.

Well i tried all that and then there is a problem... i don't get a server's list :confused:

And when i turn auto download on and i just refreshed the list it still won't work with most of the servers exept one. Mastrubating is the only server i can always connect to...:rolleyes: :uhm:

I've been having the same problem even with reinstalling. When I first load SOF2 I hit the get new list button. It'll list some servers but when i try to join a listed server or try to connect to manually to a ip I just says awaiting connection 1..2..3..4.. . I have already tryed deleting the server cache file. Also in the conusle it say xxxx servers droped due to packet loss or pings over 800. I have ran tests and have found no packet loss and my connection speed is 10,000 kbps on the dl and 1000 on the ul so i dont think its a slow connection lol. Check and make sure you have no firewall blocking your connection, if you are getting no servers in the list it is either Firewall or no connection to the internet

Thanx, but I foregot to state on there but that was the first thing I did I even set up my pc on a DMZ to make sure that wasnt it. Oh well any more suggestions?

Oh yea I also do have a connection to the internet. I'm not that dumb....I dont thik anyway......wait maybe I am.....nope it is connected.
