Major menu problem after Gold-patch Alright, my SOF2 was working perfectly until I installed Gold patch today. When I start the game in multiplayer mode every button is "blank" and I cant press anything. The resolution is set at 800x600 (also tried 1024x768) and when I sometimes suceed with going into some menu by clicking on the blank buttons like mad, I see text are not aligned correctly on the buttons. http://medlem.spray.se/anabolicprotein1/soferror.jpg There's a screenshot on how it looks. I have tried reinstalling the whole damn thing, took me like hours..! And it still wont fix it. My computer is XP 1700+ (not overclocked), 256 mb DDR, Geforce 2 MX 64 mb and Windows XP Pro. It worked fine before, so why did this Gold patch mess it all up? http://medlem.spray.se/anabolicprotein1/soferror.jpg Check the screenshot! I just want to add, that when I click on the Start server "icon" that looks like on the screenshot, I can manage to select map and everything and start, but the loading stops and it says "cant find ui/ingame.txt" or something like that. |
which version of the patch did u downlaod?there is a full for when u are goin from 1.00 to 1.03 and there is a part for going from 1.02 to 1.03.make sure u downloaded the right patch :) try that and lol hoss |
I downloaded the Full, of course. Doesnt work yet |
The same thing (with the menu) happens to me too. Did you fix it???. Tell me, please. |
hmmm if u just bought the game u will have to d/l 1.03 Full patch, if u had any previous patches d/led... u will have to get 1.03 lite patch.... i had the previous patches but uninstalled my game and got only 1.03 Full patch... saves u more space and its better to have 1 full than parts of it.. also... c if u have d/l or using any scripts or costum maps... i had the a smiliar problem with the action menu, commands like affirmative, clear and all that u know what i mean... when i use to hit the radio button ... there was nothing in there... the problem was a buggy script/ skin i had d/l... |
