Default SOF2 infinite sound loop and game/computer crashing.

Alright, I've read forum upon thread upon thread. I've tried utilities and all sorts of ideas so imma post here.

The Problem: I go in to play sof2 mp and I join a server and I'm lucky to play a round or possibly two but ordinarily that is too much. In the middle of playing at any spotaneous time my game looks up, the sound keeps looping, and if im lucky I will get a winxp crash but most of the time I have reboot the computer manually. I have checked the event log with the sof2 crash and I get this problem...
0000: 41 70 70 6c 69 63 61 74 Applicat
0008: 69 6f 6e 20 46 61 69 6c ion Fail

0028: 69 6e 20 73 6f 66 32 6d in sof2m

0048: 30 30 30 62 33 31 35 31 000b3151
0050: 0d 0a ..

I'm not forsure what this means but I know it has to do with my game crashing. I've reported it to microsoft but you know I dont get help there.
Solutions I've tried: I've formatted, installed sof2, reinstalled sof2, rolled back my drivers from the 56.x to 53.x to 52.x and 45.x I've even used the default 29.x drivers and I might have even used the 44 or 43.x drivers. I've reinstalled the gold patch. I have turned my sound card acceleration down, tested my hardware in directx. I have turned off agp fast write, I have adjusted the agp voltage setting. All of my hardware is compliant and in good condition. It could be an IRQ setting or something but I havent read anything about fixing that. I'm not overheating, by far. I far exceed the minimum system requirements but yet I get this same error. I've tried the wiser program and adjusted sof2 settings.

My Hardware:
WD 8mb cache hard drives
G4 TI 4600 128 mb
480 Dual Fan PSU.
Athlon xp 2100+
MSI K7N2G-L mobo.
Santa Cruz/TurtleBeach sound card.
4 vantec tornado fans in my case with a dual fan VGA Cooler setting next to my vid card. I use round cables all throughout my case and I have 512mb of ram.

I have updated every driver that I could use in my pc and updated all the hardware that I can. I still have this infinite loop problem and it is very aggitating. If anyone can solve this problem for me I would sooooo appreciate it.

This problem is usually assosciated to Audigy sound cards and win xp pro. Try to update the sound card drivers (hell, update them all). Then try to delete the .cfg file from the game (the game will make a new one but you'll have to reassign keys and configs)

I have the same problem. I start the game, and try to make my own server. When he's about to start, it just does not work.
Or when I connect to another server, the game blocks and I can not do anymore. I have to reboot my pc and after that it works. Is it a game problem, graphic...?
