Every time i get into one of the regular maps like jor1 or kam5 the game freezes and snapshot and says "Sof2.exe has encountered a problem." It does this all the time but only on the regular maps. Sometimes it even restarts my pc. please help me someone.

I've had the exact same problem, twice. Unfortunately, for me at least, it turned out to be hardware failure both times. One was a bad memory module and the second time it was a motherboard failure. I went through all the usual software fixes, cleared the CMOS, flashed the bios, reinstalled SoFII a dozen times, reformatted the HD...everything. Seems that the stress that SoFII puts on your system is causing lockups, etc. Check your temps and see if you can isolate the problem that way. Read the details of the error message. I'll bet it's something like the error is at address 0x00000000000 blah blah blah. You can try to run it down in Microsoft Knowledge Base, but none of the fixes there really applied to my problem.
Download memtest and check your memory hardware.
Check your power supply, is it hotter than normal?
Run all the diagnostics you can find, there's tons of them out there for free.
I'm a little confused by what "It does this all the time but only on the regular maps" means.
"Sometimes it even restarts my pc." For this, right click on My Computer from the Start menu. Go to properties, then Startup and Recovery settings. Remove the checkmark from the box that says "automatically restart". This way, the next time the error happens you'll get a blue screen of death with an error code you can try to run down.
Good luck!

Have you ever been able to play them? Has this just started after a new install?
Sounds like corrupt files from the cd.
If all else fails, clean the cd(if it is not scratched) and re-install.
Grab this program called Wiserfrom this site that will check your sof2 files.
