[Help] SoF2MPSDK Serverlist

i just started with the SoF2 MP SDK, and i was wondering if u could edit the server system. I don't really know how i have to explain this in english, i'm dutch.. but euhm... where you can edit the serverlist. When i want to join a server, it shows all the active servers, and i was wondering if it's possible to edit the codes sow it shows only lan servers, not the option for online servers?

becaus i'm working on a project, and i don't want the players to join another sof2 server without my mod (:

When i comple the source code, i get thes 181 errors with this:

Error 2 error C2059: syntax error : 'type' d:\gip\sof2 1.3 mp source\code\game\q_shared.h 704 1 gt_tdm

and when i use the original code of the SDK i still having this problem :s

i don't know if this is possible.

What when they are no longer on the LAN? It would be a pity if they couldn't join online games then.

I think the best way to make sure they play on your LAN server is to block the SoF2 port (default is 20100) in the router on the LAN.

it's a project for school, and if they can join online servers, they would see that i didn't fully made it using the source code xD

it only has to work for 2 days whatever (:

and any idea's for the source code problem with the syntax error?

In ui_main.c, UI_BuildServerDisplayList you could add a line that simply terminates the execution before the list is generated. - Something like;

if ( ui_netSource.integer == AS_GLOBAL ) return;


I can't make much sense of the error you have posted.

Download this servers list INTERNET.pk3 from here:

http://www.filefront.com/user/bleupurple

Put it in your sof2 map and replace it with the old one
Now you have your internet servers again put as many as possible to your favorits list
This is an older list so not all servers are still online but the most are.
CAUTION!! DO NOT REFRESH THE SERVERS LIST! all wil be gone again
