Rate of fire??
 
I would like to be able to change the rate of fire for weapons, but can't seem to find out where in the .wpn file to do it. I thought maybe 'volume' but it didn't seem to do anything. Any thoughts?:smokin:

sorry it is not the sof2.wpn the controls the speed fo the weapon. is the speed of the animation you want to change and the sof.inview file. The most reacent sof2.inview is located in the update102.pk3 \inveiw folder just find th gun you want to speed up and cand the

p.s. its harder then i just described it to be. but still try any way.

If your talking about mp then heres wut u do. Requiring that you have a mod already or if not you could also get the file you need.

Look closely at the m590 there is a fire delay on it to shoot faster you have to edit it and make it less notice that it is a negative number. But you only fine this file called sof2.wpn in 2 places. 1 in a recently downloaded weapon mod or in the theresk.pk3 file found in the base folder. If your lookg for this file you have to open the theresk.pk3 with winzip (winrar-winace) and look in a folder called ext_data in there sof2.wpn is there. Heres the tricky part because I stink at creating a solid folder structure. But i'll explain it the way they did to me make a folder called wutever u want and in that folder call this one ext_data put the sof2.wpn file in there and do any editing you want. If you look at shotty some weapons will not have a firedely but you can add it to them to make them shoot faster as well. When your done ZIP it up and rename it to wutever u want.pk3 the PK3 has to be the extension or SOF2 won't see it. If this doesn't work do it my way is just to download any weapon mod for MP and take your sof2.wpn and place it in the mod but has to be in the ext_data folder inside the mod. Also make sure mod works before you put your file in it. Rest asure this is not steeling or anything its just about creating a solid folder structure that count here. Also if you want you could submit it to sof and they could post it for yah. You also before you post it make a reade file for explaining what it does that it. Enjoy your ultra fast guns.
