Adding Scope??
 
Hi, I'v had trouble with certain elements to modding. One prob is that I can't seem to add a 40x to the sniper rifle. I have tried

zoomFactors
{
5x 20
10x 10
20x 5

40x 2.5
}


With no luck, and also cant seem to add the scope to other weapons by pasting in;

altattack
{
action toggleZoom
hud "scope"
hudIcon "hud/scope/bullet/bullet"
kickAngles "1 2 -2 1"

zoomFactors
{
5x 20
10x 10
20x 5
}
}


I've been able to change the clip size, and projectile gravity, so I know my mod is 'seen' by sof2. Any help appreciated.

ok well that is a easy one you just forgot to add:

:type:
in to your "sof2.inview" file some were in there were your gun is.

Now this if the Amine for the oicw. but it should work fo the zoom in/out of you gun. now it might not like right because the gun was not coded for a zoomin/out and if it was this would not be the animation for that.

now the for the resome why that did not work in the first place is there was no anamation for action so the action would happen so fast, so may times back and forth it may not of aperre to work
