Selecting a single brush

i was watching Room 101 and got everything until he said the best way to select a single brush is from the 3d menu or something like that...

i need help with this part...what button do you press to select a brush from the 3d menu? i deselect everything first, and then i tried mouse click 1,2, and 3 but none works, so i press some more buttons but still havent find it :(
any help would be nice, thanks in advance

Re: Selecting a single brush

Hold down your Shift key then click on the brush you want with your left mouse in the 3d window.
