Hint brushes ?
 

Well it's all in the title really where exactly do they need to be placed ?. I decompiled jor1 and noticed that they're all at roughly roof level & in every nook and cranny around the map. Ace. My advice, i am not a mapper. but i would take a couple of the maps that the fans have made and see what they have done...some of the Legendary mappers.
That is where i would start .

lol jor1 is a mess isn't it :/

best thing to do would be to read a LOT of tutorials and then suddenly you'll get how to do it. it's quite easy actually once you get it :)

btw, decompiling maps won't help that much, because the maps don't explain why hint b rushes where placed in a particular way, only the creater really knows.
