The Sims 2 Copy Problem.
 

I have the DVD version (1 disc) of the sims 2, i copied this using "clonecd".
It seemed that it worked perfectly, i used the new copy to install the game.

The problem: when i first started my game it told me i had emulator software running and i need to turn it off and restart the game. then after rebooting it told me to insert the correct DVD in drive.

What can i do to fix this problem!?:bawl:

I'm not sure we can talk about that here, since, technically, anything that bypasses copy protection is illegal, even if you own the game and you are only making a backup for your own personal use.

I fixed the problem with the sandard game but now i made a copy of my sims 2 pets expansion and the same thing happened. this time however i cannot fix it the same way as the standard game!

Can anyone email me the solution to my problem as it would be against the rules of FileFront to talk about how to copy protected/copywrited products or use those copies.

Why are you coping the game when you have the original. Use the original to install and play. But it does not sound like you really do have the originals or this would not be a problem.

It's even worse that you are asking for help when you said yourself it is against the rules. Don't do it again.
