I purchased the dragon from the stand, and now it is in my inventory, but how do I put it on the ground to hatch???

Go back to Magic Town then come right back, but first make sure that there is a clear area around where the sim comes back so they can place the dragon nest down. Remember not to click on the sim or they will forget to place the dragon on the ground to do whatever you want them to do.
