I forgot the way that you change the music in the sims 2 into mp3

You mean, extract the sounds (they are already mp3)? With SimPE, go to TSData\Res\Sound to find the packages, then pick the music you want and "extract." Too bad this doesn't work with other sounds.

no, it was as simple as renaming a file to change the file extension
