Default A vague fatal error.....

Man, just as I was really getting back into this game.....

I'm a good ways through the game when I start getting a fatal error upon trying to zone over elsewhere. Of course, now both the Autosave and Quicksave, being for two different zones, are now corrupted with the same issue.

I was running through Agroprom and attempting to zone over to Garbage. I'm up to where I gotta meet Doc in Strelok's hideout for the main story, but I've yet to zone into Army Warehouses and beyond. Quicksave is in Agroprom, Autosave is Garbage, and neither will now work. At the very point where the save file seems to finish synchronizing everything, I get this odd error -

I don't know if memory's the issue. I doubt it, but I dunno. I could really use some help here, but that error gives me no clues as to whats wrong.

Oh, right, mods. Current mods being used is the Supermod2-Pack v2.2.5 LITE for version 1.0005. This means its a solid medly of mods mixed together, including OL 2.2 + Arsenal, and so on. Also, I downloaded a small mod today that removes all invisible walls and fences and allows the player to walk through fenced metal textures (and through various metal floors to uncertain death) I partially wonder if this mod's the culprit, except I've had it on all day and only now do I have trouble with it.

I sure hope someone can help. I was really getting ready to conquer the Zone, and now this.

Default Re: A vague fatal error.....

Dammit all. Three times I've attempted the Supermod. Three times my games have failed. But I'm sensing a pattern here. Could REALLY use some help here. Here's what I've gathered so far -

1. All three cases have happened in the same fashion - In the same way, around the same point in gametime, but in totally different areas, regardless of content/quests completed in any order.

2. The initial gamekilling crashes occur when attempting to zone into a new area. It happens very late into the loading process, as in very deep into the "Synchronizing...." stage. Its rather possible that the crash occurs at the very moment that the game would otherwise begin.

3. Though this bit likely isn't relevant, the first case was when I was exiting Bar to the Garbage. 2nd case was Agroprom -> Garbage. Latest case was X18 -> Dark Valley.

4. The crashes corrupt the Autosave made during the crash, AND somehow the Quicksave state often made soon before zoning.

5. A Custom-named save state, made in the Army Warehouses, loads just fine. It is dated 5/06/2012 at 8:40am, gametime. The erroneous Quicksave & Autosaves are dated 5/07/2012 at 19:46pm & 19:47pm, respectively.

6. I cannot recall the gametime dates of the previous two cases, but I do recall that they both happened as the sun was going down.

7. All three cases produced different error reports that were vague and revealed little. In fact, only the latest case produced the most data as to what happened:

Error Reason:
----------------------------------------
XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module "G:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\bin\xrCore.dll" at 001B:010E7CB5, xrDebug::backend()+165 byte(s)

Well, thats what I've got. Its #4, 5 & 6 that I'm paying attention to. What I've gathered here so far feeds my suspicion that at somepoint during the evening of 5/07/2012, the game hits a point of no return, and royally f***s up any savestates made afterwards, as well as crashing upon any attempt to load up a new area.

I cannot confirm nor deny any possibility that this is an error pertaining to Oblivion Lost. I should note that this is the first time since I got Stalker:SoC that I dared to update to Patch 1.0005 (Supermod is meant for 1.0005) and try OL 2.2 with it. I should also note that I've run into other issues beforehand that, while not outright crash-producing, were definitely related to gametime-scheduled events. I'm going to try checking with the Oblivion Lost thread in the Mod section, because I know the one to speak to about this issue.
