I have got to the end of the mission where u have to get the documents and the door closes and you have to kill the fire things..but everytime i kill them it dosent cut to the cutscene.
ok this is what you do, before going in the room to fight the fire thing, drag a monsters body and put it in front of the door blocking it open.frag the monster and grab the documents...i had to do this cause after beating the monster the door wouldn't open.this way you can leave the room after beating the monster.
Not sure if that would upset storyline, or leave mission incomplete, but...
I had same problem after installing some mods, just quicksave before killing fire mutant. I tried it a few times, still failed, but eventually worked and I got cutscene and carried on as normal.
I think without the cutscene and it's trigger, the military does not attack the base.
I'm also stuck there, but I can leave. I killed the fire thing, got the dream, got the documents, but the task still says I need to find the door to the lab. The military came down, I killed them, I left, went to the bar, but the task still says I need to find the door to the lab.
I tried to get around it, talked to the bartender, he doesn't say anything about it. I went and found ghost's body, still says I need to find the door to the lab. ARG! How do I get around this to continue with my game?!?
youre confusing me. you said that you killed the fire thing (in X18, DARK VALLEY LAB) and that you killed the military, (X18 DARK VALLEY LAB) and that you found ghost's body?????? that is at the end of LAB X16, at YANTAR. if somebody does indeed have this problem, you might be confusing them. just clearing it up. i did not have any problem like this. maybe you mean to say that you played even thru yantar and still have the DV lab door quest?? idk
