Wow, this just got a lot more complicated. What would I change to reverse the dark/light change? I mean, I want the effect, it's cool -- it's just backwards!

Well that effect is called tonemapping. As I said. I didn't code these shaders. I only optimised them. I guess I could have a look around the files and see if I can figure it out for you.

Also make sure you are running the latest drivers for your videocard.

Thanks for the DX8 support.
Dynamic lights bring my computer down to 10-20fps.
With static I get around 80-120fps.

Now if only it was possible to get SSAO and Motion blur to DX8
The game should let you run in DX9 with static lighting/no shadows.
