Experience (RPG-element) Hi, I have a question. In the game, the player (you) has experience, shown in the pda. At the begining you are a rookie, offcourse. The game doesn't use this however. My idea is to implent a RPG element. Your experience limits your abilities. Like wielding heavy weapons and armor. So where can I find the script with the experience? I also need to find out how the leveling works. |
Re: Experience (RPG-element) I can tell you how the levelling works, but what experience are you referring to? The Top 100 Stalkers list, or the status shown next to your icon in conversation and trade menus (Novice, Experienced, etc) ? The first is affected by the number and experience of enemies you've killed (both Stalkers and Mutants). The second one is affected by what missions you have completed. However it only changes once you report to Barkeep to end each task. After completing Agroprom - Novice to Experienced After completing Dark Valley - Experienced to Veteran After completing Yantar - Veteran to Expert So by the time you travel to the Army Warehouses, if you follow the storyline, you'll be an Expert. Tying that status into the game sounds interesting, but my guess is it'll be a lot of work. |
Re: Experience (RPG-element) Yes I meant the Novice to Expert experience. So there is no experience bar? Guess it will be harder than I thought. Still me and a friend will give it a try and try to implent it. |
