the old oblivion lost was a serious sam style shooter, where you visited different worlds, the mayas, the aztec, and other planets, killed robots and so on. thats not for us.

we are on the way to remake shoc from 2004. this time, alife was a bit unscripted, which is false, but sounded nice in reports. anyways, ai will have its own tasks, not sitting in camps all day, they will go to hunt, find things, then return to traders for new tasks, go to camps for nights, and sleep, then in the morning wandering around, and doing their daytime routine.

Which UAZ? The 469(jeep) or the 452(van)? The jeep flips over far too easily. The 452 would be a more suitable choice for the Zone.

If you happen to include the GAZ 66, please be aware that the 'collision box' around the cab is rather bugged. More often than not, Strelok becomes trapped within the cab if you try to exit from the vehicle.

we include the uaz van too (about gaz66, we have it, but not sure if it will be needed or not), and try to fix the other cars a bit, mostly adding more weight to them, but as playing with old beta, it has the same problem, maybe thats why they removed vehicles

I can't wait to get my hands over this, if you need beta tester, I have good pc, and good experience with priboi story too. (that might help)


I also started one in general discussion long-long ago, but no one cared about it Well actually at that time I thought its some lost beta-alpha thingy, and even moderators said its old screens from gsc.


edit: One more question, do you know how big your addon will be? (I have terribly slow download speed )

i cant tell much about testing... its far away from complete, and we won't release half made craps.

about size... well you can count it: 20 maps + models + textures + config files with scripts... should be around 3-4gb.

nah it was just a physics text car in 2003, and in my opinion it does not fit to the zone with this outlook (unless we add minigame "pimp my nivea")

Of course, it would fit to the mod only as an easter egg.
Mission accomplished, your reward: take the optical tuning set from Sidorovich in cordon, and drive your rusty, bullett-ripped old niva to the rostok factory to pimp your ride.
