and looking at the xray_<username>.log and look for the *FATAL ERROR* part at the very bottom.

Lastly, i ask now are you using a NoDVD? because lately people have been getting nice errors (not as severe as a BSOD but crashes) in Pripyat, Army Warehouses, the northern parts. And NoDVDs have been known to cause errors.

ok thanks i'll have a look for that now and get back to you, and no i'm using a normal purchased version, it could be drivers its just odd that it hasn't happened before

Generally the content in the middle of an error log is worthless, the important bits are either at the top or bottom. Do you have any other error logs apart from the one with your username, because this one doesn't show much that can help.

Actually we just suspect that you havent posted all of the *.log file You dont need to open the MDMP files, i think its some sort of a weird format for previous logs. If you do post the WHOLE log, from top to bottom, please put em in spoiler tags as the text gets very long

[ spoiler][/spoiler ]

Just without the spaces.

Id recommend trying to recreate the error and checking the log again because if thats the whole log then it is incomplete and we dont really know whats causing the problem.

BSOD is generally related to operating system not the game so id recommend doing some cleaning up on your computer, scan for viruses, unneeded service, etc. Try updating drivers or even reinstalling the same ones. Get another log to us if its any different, depending on how abrupt the crash is you may get different length log.

Beyond that we're still at square one.

Searched this thread, and no Vehicle FAQs... Kind of odd that when I installed OL 2.2, I can go inside vehicles, but cannot start their engines, even if i can turn on the lights.
