Yea the link in the faq is wrong, i generally grab it from atrocious signature, but i didnt c any recent posts, so i poped in to the faq and clicked the link to get the second portion and it said page not found. Edit: it turns the link into text automatically which is funny. If your using firefox just right-click and choose "copy link location"

I think the author of the sticky should automatically have the edit button for the first post. I meen thats what stickies are for, and generally they get updated, i think we need a revolution Its super easy to do, just put a check in the same function as the edit timer and set it to check

if author== post_author and thread_status=sticky
edit.enabled=true
end

obviously thats not the code but its the logic part of it, i think this forum gets powered by vb script so maybe just maybe webmaster would consider adding it.

I found Fox dead, when to the underground hideout but there was no cutscene...

The minigun can be bought?? I've been to Bar several times and I've never seen it for sale.

Ty for help with Blowout question and no new enemies in Pripyat. That place is like the safest place in the zone actually. It's annoying with the controllers though, my vision is all shaky even though i scan every where with the binoculars looking for them and I don't find half of them. Minus the controllers which are just honestly annoying and not dangerous, Pripyat is very safe. I assume it shouldn't be, but for me it is.

Im going to ask the last time, which OL version are you using? Its not Fox you need its "Guide" and you should have received a task after deactivating the brain scorcher. Maybe something got screwed up and you didnt receive the info portion. Im on my lunch now, so when i get back from work, ill look up the info_portion you need.

Ive actually checked the barman_supl.ltx list and i noticed that he dosent have it in there, which is odd cause in OL2.0 or 2.1 i was able to buy it, it was probably in OL2.0 then.

If you want you can add the minigun to barkeep and maybe set it that he has it 30% of the time. HERE is the link to the "How to edit traders" post (the one on the front page is broken), take a look at part 3 and 4. the weapon name is wpn_m134

just add something like
wpm_m134=1,0.3
in the barman_supl.ltx

and wpm_m134=1,7 into the barman_trade.ltx, just check where your actually putting it because there are triggers, if you turned the brain scorcher off then put it after the [barman_after_brain_sell]

Lastly, im not sure what is going on with pripyat i didnt go there often, in fact i havent actually launched stalker in a good week and a half now if not longer. I might have the strength to play a little tonite, my bud made me go back to OL2.1 to check why he couldnt get an MG3 and it overwritten my saves (i only quicksave/load) so my OL2.2 game was gone and i didnt feel like starting a new one.

In my experience it should be pretty much populated with loner/duty/freedom camps, ive always seen tons of ppl there. Maybe the game got upset because you annihalated all of pripyat, or maybe your controllers are zombifying everyone and no one will return until you get rid of every single last one.

Yea too bad Fox cant fend off a pack of dogs, you help him ones and the next wave will eat him anyways. Btw hes probably meeting him for directions to Streloks hideout lolz him being the Guide and all.

And thanks for the screens but you should PM abandonator (even though i havent seen him around today) with the permalink to your post and he will get it added to the FAQ.

accualy ONCE in vinilla stalker fox suvived long enough to meet guide and then the next time i went through there he was gone i wonder where he went?

EDIT : ^^^the cars are always kinda buggy, but i don't think the dev team has found a way around it. I'm pretty sure they're as good as they're gonna get... even though pseudodogs can get under and somewhat lift cars... and whirligigs can launch btrs into the air... and you across the map if you get out too late...

Well, as you see, we have vehicles since SHOC has been released, and during 1,5 year noone was able to fix their physics. What I did is only ltx config improvement, no idea to make them better anymore. Still, playable.
