You're right. It looks like function give_x16_reward is not called during the dialog. They obviously disabled the reward for bringing X16 docs to Barkeep. I don't remember if I ever got something from him, but from looking at the files, there doesn't seem to be a reward.

You could bring it back in though. Open gamedata\config\gameplay\dialogs_bar.xml and search for this line:
<action>bar_dialogs.give_x16_documents</action>
Put this line underneath it:
<action>bar_dialogs.give_x16_reward</action>

That should activate the reward function after you give him the docs.

a question, if i would want to implent a new suit into the game, should i just give it a unique name, add in the unique system ltx and then with the traders?

as for making a new suit, i have cs3 and a hex editor, what do I all have to change in a ogf file to make a unique suit? apart from giving it another name, and where do I change the textures the mesh should use?

You should be able to change the textures and immunities with a hex editor. Look through the file for readable text. Just don't change the number of characters when editing something in the Hex.

I think what you got there is the texture for the head. I once changed that, to put another head onto a suit visual. Look for another section like that. It should contain the texture for the suit. I can't tell you exactly what to change. Every file is different.

Maybe it's easier to use some decent modeling/texturing tools (which I don't know) instead of a hex editor.

Hey I have a question. Like Amraam, I am also saving up for that Skat10 suit (normally 960,000). How could I change it to where it is very cheap?

I could probably do this on my own, but 1) I dont know what the code for the Skat10 suit is, and 2) I dont want to mess up game and reinstall, this is the farthest I've ever gotten in main story.

EDIT: Nevermind, the Skat10 suit is under ;AMK Outfits as militaryspec_outfit. thanks a ton for this thread dude.

So with this we can make the barman sell grenades for the m203 and other such weapons? Is it possible to do these edits with out having to start a new game?
