Yes - I want to do it. But you said you don't really like RC (if anybody does :P ) So I wanted to first upload it somewhere else - before sending you the mail. It's taking me a little longer than I expected - but i think that i will send yo this mail in 2h or so

Hey!
This mod is really good, but why are the stars moving at night? Thats kind of weird!
(I installed the lite version with the "medium" user ltx)

You're using FDL or SL version?

Sorry I don't understand whats FDL or SL?
I use version s.w.o.v2.0 Lite including the "quick fix" user ltx for "medium systems"

Ok - now what do you mean by - 'moving stars' - do you mean that the sky is rotating?
Maybe you can post two screens or sth - to catch this 'movement'?
Also - at exact witch hour (in-game) this occurs?

Because nobody else complained about that yet, I think it must be the sky rotation...
But my opinion is, that it is a bit too fast! of course a day in STALKER has not real 12 hours, but when you go outside and look into the night sky you won't see the stars moving.

OK, I identified the problem - it will be fixed in next release pretty soon.

Now for the quick solution:

In the weather_default.ltx you will find sections named [default_weather_01], [default_weather_02] etc. These are the weather phases. Now for phase named:

[default_weather_21_01] change the following paramether into:
sky_rotation = -5

for the

[default_weather_21_02] change it to:
sky_rotation = -15

and for the

[default_weather_22] to:
sky_rotation = -30

This should slow the movement enought to make it unnoticable

I cant find my User.LTX - i dont have one in my stalker.shoc folder. any reason why?

its a beautiful mod, appart from the vanilla colouring atm
