| I've gotten the stuck controller noise before, but one thing I'd double check is, if you killed it, left the level and returned and the noise is still there, look for another controller. |

| Whoops, nevermind. Thought I had a solution but I misread your post. Last edited by McMick; November 18th, 2009 at 11:46 AM. |

| Something I just remembered is Dwarfs are known to cause the same thing... And you can have several of those in 1 area - especially as they seem to like traveling in packs. But I'd guess that, if you went looking for all the Controllers, you would have also found any Dwarfs along the way... Oh, and as far as killing Controllers go... I find it VERY difficult to change weapons, reload or such whenever they see you because of their attack forcing you to put stuff away. ;x Then again, I had never once before thought to nade them. Well, aside for the time I was using a unique Groza to nade all mutants in sight. XD;; But my mutants are also covered in custom skins, and my unique weapons can do 1 hit kills (as well as blow things away a MAJOR distance)... c.c But I modded the game for my own fun, not for the purpose of anyone or anything else. ;3 Heck, I even modded the Controller attack noise so it's not that annoying sound that can actually hurt a person's ears. Wtf is with that anyways? I say games shouldn't be allowed to have things that can cause actual physical damage to people who play it. AAAnyways... Minigun ammo - I still can't find that in game. Help? =.=

| Minigun uses the same ammo like AK47, right? So you need some 7.62x51. There are pretty rare, even later in the game. Barman and Skinflint usually have some of these, but do not expect a large amount of that! |

| Nope, it has its own ammo. Still a 7.62x51 class, but nothing else uses that it seems. Since I mod stuff, I've looked at the details in the files and all. I haven't gone looking around at where the OL team put it in, thus why I'm still asking as to where it is. If it was as simple as using ammo other weapons use, I could just increase the amount per box, as well as how often the traders sell it, which traders sell it, etc... Like, really, I could put the ammo into the traders and have it show up guaranteed. But I want to know where the OL team put any of it. I have mine starting off with minigun ammo, as well as a quest giving it, PLUS I already increased the amount of ammo per box. But the numbers I put in oddly only gave me 1,000 bullets - which is what I increased how much the minigun can hold at a time to. XD Once you see what the minigun ammo looks like, you'll know it's not for any other gun. It has an image that looks like the barrel of the gun - which is what it should be. Since all 1,000 of my ammo of that type is loaded into the minigun, and my AK47 has ammo, this is who I can further tell that they do not use the same type of ammo. The minigun had an ammo type made just for it, it seems. Thus we get back to my original question of: Where is the minigun ammo in the game? I.e. Where did the OL team put it (as in before I forced it in myself)? Disclaimer: I may be incorrect, as I have not checked a few things for some time. I will come back with any corrections to this once I have bothered to check it all out and such - IF I am even incorrect.

| Well, at least you can try to ask Kanyhalos. As a lead scripter of OL he should know this. Or you can ask somebody from SPR team, because Minigun is originally theirs. Last edited by Ferdish; November 20th, 2009 at 12:48 AM. |

| The minigun should be gamedata/config/weapon/wulcano. There is also an ammo part in there. Minigun should take ammo_7.62x51_fmj, ammo_7.62x51_ap. You can change that or add it the traders if it isn't already there. The barman trader sells the ammo at the end of the game after the npp and I think after the brain scorcher maybe. I bought some and tried it out so he definitely has it at the end. Last edited by eeeeddd37; November 20th, 2009 at 02:47 AM. |

Thank you. ^^ Since I'm now on my way out of Pripyat (again - after some other things I did, I restarted the game. Plus I wanted to play it in "Hell mode," instead of always going for novice/n00b), I'll go and pester Barman to see if he has the ammo for sale. Besides, I'm gonna go back to Cordon and start giving the rookies some WAY superior gear from the end of the game... XPOH! And I am correct in thinking that the minigun takes its own type of ammo. It is 7.62x51 ammo, but that is "machine gun ammo." It is for no other weapon. The AK47 (and any other gun) takes another type of ammo. There is 1 other gun which shares the ammo, though, but it is a machine gun itself. It's the MG36. But, ya ask me, the minigun is more fun.
