| First of all let me say that your mod is great! I've not played Stalker since I beat it way back when it first came out, and your mod added some of the things I thought where lacking. That being said, I have a few things that I'd like to bring to your attention, as I've said before, I've been away from Stalker for a while, so I've not read the 35 pages of post on your mod, which may mean I'll double post something..sorry for that in advance. I am using version 1.3 with the 1.3.3 patch. Bugs: 1. I had a blast killing guys in the Arena during a blowout, cause they just cowered in the corner while I knifed em to death. 2. Died while sleeping, but from what I understand that cannot be helped. Other things: 1. NPC's hear crazy good. One heard my binoculars "zoom" in from about 300m while he was engaging in a fire fight and turned on me. (I ended up going through all the weapons (binocs and knife included) and changed their "draw" and "holster" values to 0.2. Also made the rest of the binocs functions "noiseless" and made silencers for pistol caliber weapons quieter. 2. NPC's see crazy good. Especially in the dark. They had no problem seeing me from 150m in a pitch black night while I was hiding behind a tree. Which leads me to my next point. 3. Night vision. It stinks. I never needed it when I played originally cause it never got dark. But now that I could use it, the bandit who does not have any still sees better than me in my exo suit. 4. I love what you've done with the random patrols of stalkers and bandits, but there are almost too many now. If I never kill another stalker I'll make enough money just picking up loot. Anyway, all in all, you've done a fantastic job!!! Thanks, Grendelin |

The NPC AI is great, I really dunno wtf are you talkin about, nobody told me dumb npc's since 1.3.3. released, also 'im using that settings, too." orginally posted by Kanyhalos I am using the 1.3.3 patch, but when i installed it i didnt use the actor.ltx file because i modded the 1.3.2 sctor .ltx to my preferences, but the NPC's are really easy to sneak up on, what file is it that determines how the NPC stalkers act, i will overwrite it with the one from 1.3.3 to make sure...but im sure that i installed that file as the only file i oleft out from your patch was the actor.ltx, and some textures as i make my own...

| And those nights in patch 1.3.3 are too dark :x...earlier was better IMO...even this best purple nightvision works bad now (hard to see anything far) |

| I was unable to edit my post after others posted, but I just wanted to clarify that I was using a the PSZ-9Md suit which does have the "good" night vision. Also when I took a closer look at all the armors, I found that my suit was considerably cheaper than other suits which did not have nearly as good of properties...ex: the SEVA suit has -20 to impact, rupture and bullet & -10 to telepathy but its 5k more expensive. The military suit cost 40k but has bad night vision but stats similar to the SEVA suit. Just a couple of inconsistencies. Hope I'm not being to critical. Again, great job! Grendelin |

| Kanyhalos: I have a Mod Question : ) Hello Kanyhalos. Firstly, I'm really sorry to ask this as I know that lot's of people have already done so but I need help installing the mod if possible. I've done a fresh install of STALKER and patched it to version 1.5. I have not started a new game. I've installed the mod OL 1.3 with StalkerModManager and it is asking me to choose a "gamedata" preference either "gamedata", gamedata/1.004 patch or gamedata/1.005 patch. Which one/one's should I choose. I tend to find the game crashes which ever one I choose. Any help would be appreciated as I really want to try this mod : ) |

| Well 1.5 if that is what you patched your Stalker, too. ![]() Secondly there is a OL 1.33 patch to be applied after you choose the 1.5 patch for OL 1.3. Good Luck. |
