| GREAT MOD MAN! i am really diggin this one. I stomp around the whole zone with my Vintorez and Duty Universal Protection suit (Tourist Suit as a back up) CODES for Brain Cooker/ Fryer/ Red Forest yada yada yada 2011553 , 1287975 , 342089 found these in another thread some time ago and wrote them down. i forget which one is which but they all work a door i think. maybe one or two doors you still cant open. RELAX! if you look at the map the locked doors would just make it easier, go through the door instead of going a mile outa the way to get to the room behind it. codes ARE NOT NEEDED to complete any quest! they are just little perks. GF MOD!!!! keep it up!

| Hey, I have been really enjoying the mod but once agian I have a problem. I have been into the army wherehouses and helped freedom kill the duty soldiers, but now when I go back to the bar area, every duty member is against me, and there are to many for me to fight, and then also all the stalkers begin shooting me .I dont no if this has anything to do with this, but i had to take out a file from your mod named 'info_l10military' earlier to stop my game crashing. Thanks for any help. |

Heres a better plan for you.... Talk to duty first, accept the first mission Skull offers you and complete it without entering the freedom compound....also complete it pretty fast or skull will be wounded or dead before you are done..... Then talk to Skull again and refuse the second mission. Skull and his boys will go do something suicidal......follow them and do not take sides..... then LOOT..... |

| The first time i played the game without any mods i killed the duty members in the army warehouses, and could still go through the bar without any of the duty members being agaist me. I cant do what rkteckt suggests because ive already saved after killing the duty members. |

Ignore both sides altogether. Don't even stop off at the farm where Skull and his men are then just go about your business. If you need to see Skinflint then just go to the main building and tell the guard you saw the Duty guys but don't tell it to Lukash. Do whatever business in the main building and if you need to talk to Lukash then tell him you have nothing to report. You can get jobs from Lukash but avoid telling him about the Duty guys everytime you talk to him. That way you tick off neither side and you're not involved in their conflict. It doesn't matter what happens to Skull anyway and you don't get that great of stuff as rewards from him. Not anything you can't get somewhere else. For some reason though its better to make friends first with Duty so do the jobs General Voronin gives you first (that don't include killing Freedom and even if you have to repeat the mundane jobs). Its not the jobs you do that turn you into a friendly but I believe you have to do 4 jobs then everyone in Duty shows up as green on your HUD. The same is true for making friends with Freedom but its best to make friends with Duty first or they may turn on you. Its not true of Freedom. Once you become a friend of Duty then Freedom doesn't care and you can still become friends with them (yes, its possible to be friends with both). Just remember, don't do too many jobs for Lukash before you do the ones for Veronin because if you turn green (friendly) with Freedom before your green with Duty then you're likely in trouble with Duty and will get shot at. |

G36 Tunder S14 SVK bullpup sniper rifle Val Silenced Assault rifle USP pistol Sniper SG1 If your timing is right you can sneek into the armory and get the 6-shot grenade gun and three suits of armor while the guy is distracted. More importantly you get a bunch of 9x39 ammo for the vintorez in the freedom base. |

Tunder (they call it the "governator" with a grenade launcher built in) Bullpup sniper rifle (Max holds that gun and that means Max would be dead) VAL or VLA rifle? (my current favorite since I found a mod that allows me to add a PSO-1 scope to it) USP pistol (the only pistols I like are Big Ben and a gauss pistol) Sniper SG1 (I sell as soon as I see the next trader) Also, with this battle scene you have the chance of losing Skinflint since many times he gets involved in that battle and he isn't a good fighter. Both him and the cook get killed. Its tricky getting this battle to play out just right (Skinflint must live is my goal). That's why I prefer to avoid it. I believe the brown box 9x39 Pab-9 ammo for the Vintorez (Vintar BC), VLA special, and Tunder are bought from Duty. Yantar is the only other place that sells it. If you don't already have access to the Duty area then you may want to try this. After you first enter the bar courtyard and right in front of the Arena take a right and go over to the silo bins directly opposite to the Arena. Walk right up to them and just to the right of the first one, jump up on the pile of debris, sneak/crouch walk over the top to the other side and drop down. You are now right in front of the ammo supply for Duty. Walk up to one of the windows and you can talk to Petranko and buy the 9x39 ammo over and over again. Go back the same way you came in. |

I did not know about getting to petrenko without triggering the duty alarm. I will try it next play through. As far as quantity of loot goes, I usually score about ten g-36's between the freedom vs duty shootout and the freedom vs monolith shootout. I also just remembered that we are talking about OL 1.3, so some of the situations will be different than vanilla regarding the Duty/freedom shootout......
