Hi,
I would just like to start by saying I love your mod, every change you have made is amazing, and I couldnt bear to go back to the old stalker without these features


But I have a problem, whenever I quicksave, or press Esc to load a game when I die, my game crashes. This wasnt always a problem, it only happened occasionaly, and I was more than happy to bear through it to play the mod. But now it happens anytime I do either.
Im running on Vista with v.1.0005 and the latest version of your mod.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Stalker sucks under Vista. I don't know, I'm using XP.
One of my fans posted this on GSC Forum:
"The only change I made was actually using the string IncreaseUserVA just to have more room in virtual memory, since I'm running Vista...maybe this can be useful to other vista users experiencing CTD's..."

I've only ever run stalker in vista, runs fine, no CTD except when tinkering with mods.

For that matter Vista runs fine, once you turn off all the simulated Mac crap I dont see any problem with it.

Hey all~

sorry if this question has been asked before, there are just too many pages to look through. i looked through the first 6 pages, and gave up.

so here it is:

after a while of playing the OLP mod, i come to the point where my vision starts blurring and all these ghost npc's start popping up and thrashing me (cos im in the first area of the game).

so after a while of running like a nutter, i figured sleeping would solve this (cos maybe im hallucinating). but alas, it didnt. so i ate instead. and i pretty much tried everything i could think of to get rid of the blurriness to no avail.

could someone tell me the cause for the wonky blurry vision, please~?

I believe that is caused by one of the mutants that was re-added. The psych dog or something. Killing it should solve the problem
