Yeah I've had this several times in Stalker. All of a sudden ur hit, and the vision doubles. I assumed it was just a mini blowout lol.

This is the Chernobyl Dog / Psy Dog, a psyhic mutant, it hits you with telepathic attack if you are inside its aura.
It looks similar then a Pseudodog, but gray, and much more stronger, also it can make mirror images from itself, you should kill it as fast as you can, or better to run away.

Yeah, I've encountered one of those before, scared the fook out of me the first time lol.

I've seen many Chernobyl dogs, they create those ghost dogs and stuff, but it's attack is totally different. Screen goes very bright and the doubled vision effect is not that strong. That random "poison arrow" thing is different.

How many places were cut off the game, btw? I know two areas that might have been there, at least there would be space for them: some canyon-like road from cordon to dark valley, and the place (dead city perhaps) to west from army warehouses. There seem to be also a road going there from Yantar. And of course lots of empty land. Also there is a merc outpost at army warehouses, guarding the road to west (to dead city?)

Argh! Even more errors! Anytime I ask ANYONE for missions; a lone stalker, Wolf, the Trader, the Stalker you get the flashdrive from, the game crashes. The only missions you CAN ask for are 'Special Missions', or main storyline missions.

The Trader is also bugged for me, he has NO money and all of his prices are... well... screwed up and don't make much sense. The Merc suit can be bought for 30,000 rubles and I can sell one to him for 1,500 rubles. He can repair things but it's insanely overpriced.

Whenever I try to sell anything to the trader, even if it is a 5 ruble bandage, he doesn't have enough money. He also offers a few odd weapons that I'm not sure should be there; a 5.56 custom Groza that cost 50,000 and a hunting shotgun.

Medkits are also INSANELY expensive, but I think it's supposed to be like that...

I'm going to re-DL and re-install everything after downloading the 1.5 patch. I've been using the 1.4 Compatibility Patch.
