An excellent mod! I played the earlier versions to death and i'm glad to see the things I disliked in old versions (mostly the spawn rates) have been solved.

Just a quick question - as much as I love the mod I really don't like the new HUD, so is there any way you can revert back to the old one?

@Fuyursuki: To restore the old hud, remove the following files from 'gamedata\config\ui':
maingame.xml
maingame_16.xml
maingame_pda_msg.xml
motion_icon.xml
motion_icon_16.xml
zone_map.xml
zone_map_16.xml

Put them into a backup folder, in case this doesn't work!

Ok now I am pretty sure that the blowout feature in my case doesn't work...
Well the blowout did happen a LOT of time (sometimes it become annoying) but the NPCs do nothing, standing in their post and later they are "exercising" drop dead and standing while the radiation spread. The mutants, they feel nothing, they attack human when all the NPCs are "exercising", so some NPC are dead as they do nothing, little bit of NPCs shooting at the mutants. And worst is that most of the mutants targetting me, and as it is blowout, my vision blur, I can't shoot well... damn...

Actually I like the idea of blowout, it really make the zone more dangerous ( as it should be) but..oh come on...If things are happen just like above...
1. Human does not trying to survive the blowout
2. They never learn when there will be a blowout ( as there are signs if there will be a blowout)


So the feature blowout become just like bug...It is there just to disturb you from having a fun gaming. I wanna feel how it is like to stay under building with other stalkers, sheltering from radiation, cooperatively defending from mutants attack, it just..really realism right...

So please any1 out here if can help me...

Note. I am playing with 1.0006...Although Kanyhalos said that OL work with 1.0006, he said that the default is 1.0005 right ?
So if there is a patch for 1.0004, is there a special patch for 1.0006 ? I did checked, but I saw no patch for 1.0006
Is there any1 here playing with 1.0006 and experiencing full features of OL ???

well yes, the blowout needs some imrpovement, but it has already made some progress, and it also isen't that simple to make the npc look for shelter, take cover help each other fighting...

The blowout I experienced with AMK - which should pretty much the same - was already working well. NPC ran into the houses at the Freedom base and we all sat there and waited for the hell to calm down.

But your blowout relly seems to be bugged. Reinstall OL2.0 I can only suggest. As long as you use the same configuration of mods, your savedgames should work afterwards.

There is no patch for 1.0006 because the patch for 1.0004 changes only one number and that number seems to be equal for 05 and 06.

the only thing i was thinking when standing on the sacrophagus,
i stood there, and there was a blowout, and the blowout was not on the reactor, but in the horizon.. the real kick would be here that the explosion would be from out the reactor, as a massive explosion, so the screen would turn white or so for a short moment, that would be adrenaline moment

@abandonator : yea it must be very complicated, thats why I was so amazed reading the mod readme file, which makes me wanna play Stalker in a new game....

I got another suggestion...

Stalker is in 2012 right ? So we have nightvisions with different type...

What about Thermal vision ??
LoL it will be just GREAT if any modder can mod a thermal vision...
So there will be 2 types of thermal vision, one is on the suit, and the other is a modified scope, or maybe thermal binoculars ?? LoL

i agree, but i think they are working on such things, and i believe there already is a nightvision binoculars, so we're on the way. and i think if you ask it to dezodor and his team, they would be able to make it, cause those guys are skilled shit!! or maybe the russians are also trying it
