Huh, I just looked at the weather_default.ltx file, and flares_sun_rise1 is in there, yet it crashes..

then its missing from the flares.ltx, look for it there too, and if its not there, then edit the flares and search for the sun rise section and exchange the name of the section to flares_sun_rise1 (as in the weather_default.ltx)

Please stop this guys! It's totally impossible. I did not change the sun flares, I changed only the fog setting at 8:00 from 300 to 320.

Also I'm using this setting in my computer, I have got the totally same gamedata.

yep i checked it, and i can see the flares_sun_rise1 in the flares.ltx too, so it should work, since no files are missing.

EDIT:
ok i think i know whats wrong. maybe an other corrupted download. pls try to download the 1.3 mod again, and apply the patch, and it must work.

Can i request a concept for this mod? After blowouts, only 1 or 2 zombies spawn and they're not much trouble, wandering around the derelict parts of the maps. Maybe you could spawn like 20 in central places, like under the bridge in the Cordon (tunnel thing where 2-3 stalkers hang out) or the big patch of grass where you find a lot of anomolies in Agroprom. Just a thought, would make the post-blowout sessions maintain the atmosphere.

Smart Mod Manager is included to the compressed file, please use it as an installer. You can choose which patch you are using -- 1.0004 or 1.0005

The blowout spawns very large groups of mutants in the Army Warehouses, Red Forest, Pripyat, NPP areas. The center of the Zone is very hard!

I've been having alot of trouble trying to get this mod to work, I've patched the game up to 1.4, moved the OL gamedata folder, then the 1.4 patch and then the 1.3.1 patch, the game starts up but when I try to start a new game it crashes when loading, can you help me?
