I have a question on a different matter for you guys.
Has anyone messed around with the sprint speed setting? I'm trying to get him to run faster to save a little time over long distances. Those trecks from cordon to the garbage get long and boring after a while. Except for taking out whole packs of dogs with one shot from my new shotgun pistol from hell that is.LOL

So far I've made some changes in the "actor.LTX file in the "creatures" folder. I know the changes I made had some affect because now when he runs he makes a grunting sound every few feet like he ran into something, or got hurt. Everytime that happens he stops, then starts to run again, and then the same thing over and over. Maybe there's another value somewhere that has to coinside with the sprint speed settings but where, or what? What could it be that's making him behave as if he's running into something? I've got him to where he can WALK BACKWARDS faster than forward with no problems.But why not forward? It looks simple enough but????

Any ideas?

On another matter, I'm also working on modifying stalker, bandit, and military, etc. spawning/respawning if someone knows anything about that. I've looked around but I'm totally lost on this one.

i know that increasing jump speed can be detrimental to ones health.....

Does anyone know how i can edit how many rifles, grenades etc the first trader has? I've made some rifles 5RU and selling them to the locals to make things interesting! I'd like to be able buy more then 3 at a time

Midnight, try = 10, 10 for ten, or 20, 20, etc.. 10, 1 or 20, 1 etc. will probably work too.

Demoche, I increased my jump speed from 6. to 9. and it works good. That's not too much but I can jump to those hard to get to places with little effort, and without getting hurt.

BTW Midnight, wiould you let me know how your stalker friends behave after you sell them a weapon? Some of mine started acting wierd, as I described before. I think it was because I sold some of them Niphty's modded mp5 that's made to fit in the pistol slot, so they didn't know how to deal with that. Some of them did, but most didn't and pretty much just froze up.

@ Brusher the other stalkers that i sell weapons behave fine, i've sold them to most of the novice camp and i lured the military in form the the cordon and BAM! 8 dead military soldiers! I've sold them my modded AK, a few Vintorez and my auto pistol/cannon! They just throw out their old weapons and i pick them up and go sell them!

I have moddified the "character_desc_......xml " files replacing enemies weapon with rpgs and bulldogs.But when they shoot they suicide themselves shooting in front of them in the ground or in the walls .Can be that because they are novices and maybe later in the game the veterans and masters will know how to shoot right ???

The only way I've found to give a weapon is to modify the cost and then sell it to whoever you can.

Nevermind about my previous question about running faster. I finally figured it out. I can run as fast as I want now with no side affects at all.

Midnight, thanks for the reply concerning selling weapons to stalkers.

How can i make enemies carryng groza or ather weapons with grenade launchers to SHOOT with vog-25 grenades ?????
I tried to eliminate the normal ammo from their inventory and put vog-25 instead but they still shooting with normal ammo and have infinite ammo .
