STALKER in real life?

Think the location is fake; no matter how much you love airsoft and STALKER, would you risk a nice dose of radiation poisoning for it? That image with the NPP in it is definitely shooped.

You know we get blasted by radiation all the time anyways. From going outside!

yea they have tested nukes on islands with no where near the radioactive power of the chernobyl blowout and we cant go there for 10,000 years so u can go into the Red Forest but u get a radiation reading of 6.789-9.290 i think the lethal dosage is around 15 correct me if i am wrong. but yes u do NOT want to go to the center you will become very stupid get a brain tumor and mostly likely die within a month or two!

you can go there, but only for short time. because radiation works longtime, short exposure is MOSTLY not lethal. the danger comes when you come in exposure and genes or cells get damaged, and the regeneration gets screwed up. or you die, or you'll get damn ugly children...

but take a good load of jodium before visit --> yes you'll be sick of those pills
and you should have some protection.

remember that not all radiation means dead, even we are partially radioactive :) there are 3 types, and one is very dangerous, the beta rays. the alfa rays are already stopped by a sheet of paper ;)

Great thread, I bet that was awesome! I would love to go on a tour to/through chernobyl let alone play airsoft there.

So there is a military presence there, and workers, and more? Now how do they stay/live there, and not get sick from radiation?

Most of the radiation is gone. It's relative safe there. People went there and filmed it. Check it out on youtube
