Dumbest thing you've ever done Post the dumbest thing you've ever done in STALKER. For me it was selling the family rifle to the Prof in Yantar, and guess what, buying the dbl-barreled shottie back from him doesn't make things right! But at leat I got 47r out of the deal. That's enough to buy what...a bandage? Sorry bout your rifle dude. :( A close second is dropping a explosive barrel in the fire in the Freedom camp (using the awesome Faiakee's mod) and blowing myself, and everyone singing around the campfire, up. Not a recommended way to get more ammo and G36's FYI. Thank god for the cheaters X36 whatever exoskeleton, don't leave home, or Cordon, without it. :love1: Now please excuse me, the MRS. brought in a full bottle of Grey Gooose and it is my DUTY (not Freedom) that I finish it off. :dread::gizperv: Happpy 4th |
I'd have to say the time I forgot to go see Guide and Doc and didn't realize it until I got to the hotel in Pripyat. Oh, no wait,...it was the SECOND freaking time I forgot to go see Guide and Doc and didn't realize it until I got to the hotel in Pripyat. Fortunately by the 2nd time I had learned of and partly mastered the gun jam trick to open doors, so I was able to do the extended ending without backtracking. Yes, happy 4th, and I hope no one left too many empty 5ths before driving home!:barf: |
Well, my dumbest thing that I've done has to be the one when I tried to find the "Hello hello" zombie.....:uhm: It's that crazy scientist who keeps yelling "Hello hello" to you from a mile away. When I first went to that place I thought it was just another zombie mumbling some BS so I tried to find it and kill it, I spent a good half an hour finding that bastard but with no success....Then I finally went into the bunker and found out who that "zombie" actually was. I was quite pissed....:Puzzled: |
When I went to the Bar one time, I fought my way through most of the dogs, and then got the mission to kill them. So I think "alright, a few blind dogs are left, I will put this off" When I came back later, I got attacked by about 6 Psuedodogs and 3 Blind Dogs. Either that, or by getting Duty to attack you as soon as you enter the AW and refusing to keep silent about the ambush. They killed me after I took two down. Fighting 8 guys in exosuits and the same time alone is really stupid. |
I was exploring my new video editing software and suddenly found myself making these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rnlv5kvE8ws http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThNpHUrBfOA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5atTwuPPVg I’m not sure if the last video is dumb enough for this thread. Please turn up the volume. |
Oh, btw, I just forgot to see Guide and Doc again after going to Pripyat for the 3rd freakin time now! What is it with that?:banghead: At least I only had to backtrack to Yantar to see Guide using the Faiake 2.3 mod. |

Buying Shadow of Chernobyl based on several years of hype. In the game itself, betting against myself that I could outrun a Whirligig. Either way, I lost hard. |
Walking right into an anomoly coz I thought it was a dust wind or something. |

If he manages to come up with something that actually fires highly concentrated bolts of electrical charges as per the actual Gauss gun I'm sure a lot more, including those into goverment surveillance jobs will take note. |
