It all depends on i fyou overclock your system and to what frequencies. My E6750 at 3.5ghz will blow your E6850 out of the water if yours is running at it's default 3.16ghz.

(dont expect much of my graphics they are med/high quality)
And does Kain use a Graphics mod? because sometimes I play the game at my friends house he plays it on the highest settings and it doesnt even like that on Kains screenshots (or am I blind)

All graphical issues aside (I use a stock Intel display driver and no graphics card to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) I thought I would toss in this interesting screenshot of a sniper position I chose to overlook the entrance to the Red Forest. My location made it peculiarly difficult for any of the units watching the pass to get a decent shot on me...

me have no screen shots this time but.

i started a new game on the Chernobyl 22 accident anniversary 4-26. this is my 31x complete game. i was not going to play it anymore. but what the heck. i installed it again. so im doing a complete start to finish record play through. with vanilla patch 1005 at master skill level.

i had thought of a mod game. but starter is buggy enough all be its self. so.. and patch 1005 is all dark and gloomy. the weather or day and night or even sun or moon stuff suck with patch 1005. and i hate the fact. i can buy no sniper type guns. hmm i just entered the area of freedoms warehouse missions etc. the trader for duty at the bar petrinko what ever his name is sells no sniper gun either. you can only find them in the red forest on your way to turn off scorcher or some time later the duty trader will sell a mk? but gees why bother.. half the game or my videos are just moving loot dragging bodies what ever to trade with. and cant buy nothing much worth having. you pretty much have to use the cheap stuff all game. or until you go see the scientist or enter the freedom base or red forest. im not sure why they bother to run trader stuff if they never have anything to sell. i should be able to buy as soon as i have cash enough a sniper gun.and if i want to play the whole game with a sniper gun and long distance. well its my choice.. then attachments do not mount to all the stuff it should. other lil stuff bugs me too with stalker..its only a year old and never finished or polished.and never will be either.. any way.

i do like stalker.its 50/50 love hate with this game. its sad gsc is happy with a half done game. so i force my self to finish it. i record in remembrance of and tribute to Chernobyl.

i started an account with viddler. its player is a lot better then the player on youtube. they have a lot of a like features. but viddler has no play list functions. but the video play back is pretty sweet me thinks.. so i have not uploaded all my vids to viddler..i might in the future tho.. its not a bad site. youtube has way more traffic and more gamers posting vids. but vidder will grow so..
