Im speculating and being curious..

Heya Guys (and gals)

Well, after watching numerous trailers, read previews, collecting screenshots and so on, Ive had a few questions aroused that I wondered that you guys might be able to answer, or would like to speculate with me about.

Are Stalkers gay?
I am to this very moment, yet to hear anything of a female within the zone. Id love to see a female stalker in the game, it'd certainly make things more interesting.

Ive heard there is weapon degradation.
I read this in a review somewhere, but not sure if it was correct. If there is, I love it. That'd mean you're constantly on the hunt for some new weaponry, and it actually gives you more of an incentive to go out and explore.

Does anyone know how dialog is handled?
Will we have to "use" an NPC to chat to them? as in, Oblivion, where we had a rediculous zoom that froze time and allows me to have a 2 hour chat with them? Or will it be something much more creative?

How are factions handled?
As I have no idea. All I scarcely know is that there are groups of Stalkers, and you can join some, past that, I dont know.

I have a few other questions, but cant quite remember them. I realise that some of these may not able to be answered until the game is released in March, (and I hope GSC has ironed out the guys by then) but well, I can hope.

Never really thought about that.....Don't think there in the game though I'm sure the modding community could make a female model or two.

Thats true, was announced in latest gamespot article "And don't forget to change your weapons from time to time, as the weapons show realistic wear and tear over time."

I'm pretty sure Dialog will be handled out similiar to HL2 without any cinamatechs but the conversation is going on around you. Dont think you'll have to "use" them either.

The dialog is handled similar to Oblivion, but not exactly like it....
