Default STALKER CS crashes in dx10 mode (xrengine.com)

Hi!

I recently discovered STALKER, great games. However, I have an annoying issue with Clear Sky. If I enable dx10 mode, then the game crashes when I'm in the game (start) menu (after a few seconds), and save games won't load. I just get a black screen, and I have to restart the game. This is an xrengine.exe crash. I have a late 2012 iMac model with Windows 7/Bootcamp, 3.4ghz i7 CPU, Geforce 680mx, 16gb ram, SSD 768gb. Windows 7 is up to date. This crash happened without using any mods.
I purchased the game on Steam.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks for reading.
