This game has MP? Will it play better than SoC mp did? Cause SoC MP was unbearable.

It would've been better if they remade the TDM into a faction war type of gamemode... Then it would've been interesting with the inventory system and all.

I remember playin' earlier this year & the only servers I found were in Russia or at least in that region. Pings were horrible. Someone please start some US servers.

Even now I keep checking the MP listing when I have my game up and all I ever see are Russian and German servers for the most part. Nothing under 200ms ping, and that's on a good day.

joined a russian server a minute ago, 108 ping... took 5 seconds to fire after I pulled the trigger. Game = unplayable.

However, my friend has a US server, and I'm waiting on that info then i'll post it here.

Is the multiplayer overall in CS any better then SOC?
I've only done a few LAN server/client test games with only a small handfull of people.
So it's hard to judge as speed wise LAN runs great, even with some my old Wireless-B & G setups.

didn't play SoC MP, when I did, I had a 7900GT vid card, now I have 9800GTX souped up card. So long as you play a server IN YOUR COUNTRY, I'm certain the game will be ok.

There are some issues ive noticed:

1: The default game scopes ARE A GOD DAMNED ATROCITY

2: if you try to knife some one while they're shooting you, the both of you will end up ice-skating temporarily like in CS1.6/CSSource and can't attack

3: Sometimes when your shot while shooting, or just shooting... all your ammo (extra clips, ammo not in clip) dissapears

4: Binds to keys like Quick Medkit, and sprint, from Single Player, do not work in multiplayer. (at least in my case, CAPSLOCK wouldn't sprint in MP, and no button I set to "quick medkit" would work either.)

5: If you change the fire mode on your gun (Full auto, burst, single) you will probably find that weapon never shooting properly again for the entire game.

6: Playing with Russians, or in a server that's not hosted in your country will result in NO FUN.

Beyond those problems, I enjoy it a little. SP is 1000x better than MP.
