unknown weapon

any idea where to find info and equipment for "unknown weapon"?
as long as i don't try to go back to creek the game runs great on max spec

You have to go back to the creek and give the gauss gun to the drunk tech on the ship. If you want to finish the quest, that's where you go.

that's the only place i can't go coz of game crush...need to get prop copy coz am running out of targets...
