Default RTCW freezes on me with XP
My situation is similar to other threads but a little different.

My computer is a 1800+ AMD Athalon XP, 512MB DDR, 64MB Geforce 2ti, audigy Gamer sound card Running on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1a.

The game works fine on the initial install, but after I update to 1.4 it freezes and glitches in multiplayer mode. Still works fine in single player though. Any ideas? I have formated the computer and it still does this.

Did you instal patch 1.41 ? it might help

Yea update to the 1.41 patch. There were problems with the 1.4 patch.

yeah I got the 1.41 patch. The game is error free one day then it will glitch other days.
