RTCW getting into game....?

Every single time I try to get into a RTCW game it says that it is "for low pings only" or I need a password. Now I undertsand about the whole PW deal, but low pings....COME ON! I have a friggin sattelite internet connection and I KNOW I have a descent ping rate. This is for every single game. I let it sit for about a minute, while it says "awaiting challenge" then I escape. Am I just not "waiting" long enough or when it says "low pings only" it is telling me they wont let me in b/c of my ping?

And yes I have 4.1 (or 4 something, the highest) RTCW DL'ed. So what the hell is going on here....Any help? Thanks

When it says the server is for low pings only, that means your ping is higher than what the admin set it could be. Find a server where they haven't set a high ping level and see what it is. Then look at the server properties of one that won't let you join. It will say how low your ping has to be. If you have satellite internet like you say you have, than your ping should probably around 50-100. Thats usually low enough for most servers. I might be wrong about this correct me if I am.

Try downloading server searching software like The All Seeing Eye. You can at least do a search of current servers w/or w/out passwords. You can also see what the max ping allowed is for any particular server.

I have no clue where to DL that software from, I looked on that site, but nothing was useful. And I still cannot get into ANY SINGLE GAME. This is really pissing me off! How do I check my OWN ping rate!?!?!
