Default Same CD-KEY ?

Have a question 4 you !

Wolfenstein like many other games today is provided with a key to be able to play over the internet. Atleast thro servers.

But there are a few exceptions right ...

1.I can use the same key to play from the same network. "I have two computers playing both from my internet connection."

2.If i play over the internet with a few friends and im server and the connect to me throu Ip.

Or am i wrong ?

If god made a computer game it would be named Return To Castle Wolfenstein.

Oh , sorry i wrote so slappy i was in a hurry when i wrote it.

Dont feel like you realy understod what i ment so i will try again.

*I know i can play with my friends over a LAN because the cd-key doesnt get cheked against anything then. "just that its okey so the game will start"*

But what i was refening to in my question:

If i wanna play on a RTCW multiplayer server i have to have a working cd-key to be able to connect. So much i guess we all know.

But if say me and my friend wanna play togheter on a internet server. We both sit in the same house under the same internet connection.

"we are connected togheter in a LAN"

Then we can have the same copy of rtcw and the same cd-key and still will be able to join the server .. , right ?

Atleast heard this works on Counterstrike .. i belive they have the same kind of sercurity when it comes to cd-keys.

*Disregard from question nr 2 .. dont realy know what i was refering to *

well im confused aswell......punkbuster will usually remove you if you have the same cd-key, but not always. Best thing to do is try it out yourself.
