Why Does Punk Buster Freeze On Me?
 

EACH TIME I USE PUNKBUSTER IT FREEZES ON ME DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY? AND IF SO CAN YOU HELP ME AND TELL ME HOW TO SOLVE IT. I GET REALLY MAD WHEN IT DOES IT. I CAN PLAY PERFECTLY WITHOUT PUNK BUSTER ENABLED BUT I NEED TO JOIN SERVERS THAT HAVE PUNK BUSTER ENABLED.

Not that I'm being nasty I am here to help, however it is considered rude or impolite to type your text in all caps. I have punkbuster installed and enabled and it works fine, however I did have a prob once with one of my reinstalls where Punkbuster didn't install itself for some reason.

I suggest uninstall, delete any leftover files in rtcw directory, then reinstall and, leaving everything as default settings, trying to join a server with punkbuster enabled.

Godd lookin' out, kid! After the reinstall, keep an eye on top during the game. I had a few defaults that weren't acceptable for some servers. Had to change them and rejoin.
