Default SDK ummmmmmmm whats that?

the sdk is old and unsuported, it was used just to get by until GTKRadiant came along. save your makeaas.bat and download GTKRadiant, that will slove most your textures problems. the link is posted below. 1.2.7 released.

Thanks...i used to use sofradiant to make maps for sof and thought it would be easier , since i was familiar with it. Hopefully i'm downloading the right one...i'm currently downloading GTK 121, but from what i've read i need the previos version before getting 127.
The only thing that sucks right now is i'm using dial up and it takes about an hour to get 15 mb. Talk to ya LATERZ

Default ya I can feel ya.

ya, I can feely ya. I got 56k alos......... really sucks sometimes. you need 1.2.1 and then of course 1.2.7. I would visit here http://www.nibsworld.com/rtcw/faq_intro.shtml
this is a step by step getting started with GTKRadiant and will take care of questions you may have.
fun mapping.

ya i downloaded all three 121 126 and 127 it's all working great now. But i have to relearn it since it's been about a year since i made any maps. The last program i used was sofsdk...but i'm happy that it's pretty much the same. Now if i can only find the time and some new...maybe even old ideas!
