Band Of Brothers Server Is Online Now
 

A friend of mine has been able to set up hosting the band of brothers mod..however you may have to auto-download some skins and sounds, it souldn´t take more than 2-4 mins depending on your internet connection..

The server will have to be shut down due to my friend having to use he´s pc for work..

Sorry but it´s friday only..also we recmmend you download deathwish final map: http://www.rtcwfiles.com/file.info?ID=2483 since deathwish is gonna be our most hosted map due to it being the most realistic beach RTCW has to offer..

Don´t worry about it Rebel, me and my friend are buying a router so we can host a server permanently and ith reduced lag..

Ok this is what happened on 7/5/04 me and my friend (GusT) thought that everything was ok but it wasnt our problem is the ping ,you see we dont have a router we will buy one soon dont worry, some of the guys who showed up at our server had good opinions about our server but our high ping ruined the server...me and Gust won´t give up and neither can you guys..cause we might need help from all of you, until further news..keep cool..

i hate to tell you but if your running this server on Cable or DSL

a router isnt going to do Sh!t the server will still lag just like normal
if the server machine is on a network with ICS and you were hosting your ping might improve by like 2 lol hardly any improvement will happen at all

the most players on a DSL or Cable is going to be around 8-10 and that wont even be stable the lower end players will lag a bit

the real trick is to Uncap your modem so you can upload at like 3 megs instead of uploading at 350 kbps

but seriously dont try to uncap your modem thats a bit illegal :)

now if this server is on a higher connection you will be ok
But not for Cable or DSL
if your running it on Cable or DSL run it with 5-6 ppl it should go ok depending on the connection

Ok, I have a cable connection so I should be able to host a server with a 10 players max right Kane?
Oh and I tried your soundpack Gonorreia, It it´s really good, if I host a server I´ll be sure to add that soundpack..Thanks for your support..

i have a server online called BAND OF BROTHERS SERVER but no one seems to want to come on i think there put of by the downloads, which is a shame because its such a good game. heres a tip if any one wants to have fast downloads to any server . when you connect to a server and the downloading starts say at 3kbs a sec, do this drop your console and type this in \rate 99999 and then it should start to shoot up real fast then on the last 10 secs of the download type \rate 5000 or 25000 or what ever your rate was. if the server does not pickup soon im gonna have to go else were to try a mod, ill leave it on for another 2 weeks.

also i did run wolftactics and that was very good, that was a while ago when it first came out also i make clan mods like ff bani, i have done one called silver_wolf_clan but they disburst so its just there for now i might change it soon its good ithas sliver wolf heads on the ui and the starts up interface and flags and back packs and so on and flame thrower fires ice blue flame and ice blue trails it looks pretty awsome i had it playin on my server which is unpure and there was 40 people fireing there weapons with blue trails and flames with blue flames and all the weapons changed ,even the tesla gun i have it on the mod, awesome,
