Do you think they ever had any intention of finishing it, or did they just want to bulid hype for the multiplayer version so they could show off they're skills, and hopefully get more game contracts?

And the music rocks, they just need to make more of it. I hope that make RTCW2 as big as a phenomana as Halo is. That would so rock.

A few people still do, so the 50 or so left are very populated. And best of al, it's fre and the requiremetns aren't very high.

You can get Enemy Territory at RTCWFiles. There is still a farily large community for it, because the game happens to be free. Remember, use ASE (All Seeing Eye) to browse for servers!

One thing i dont want, is the game to move away from its way it looks and feels, i dont want to feel like im playing COD or BF2, i want to feel like im playing the good ole classic Wolfenstein

let's revive the thread :P

first, what i DO NOT WANT TO SEE in the game. if they do anything that i'll list now, i swear i never install any of their products again.

-non-teamwork cod/css style of playing
-vehicles. keep it on the infantry level, otherwise we can just go play battlefield
-ranks. it's what drives people away from teamwork.

now, what i would like to see in the game (focusing on multiplayer).

-squad based teamplay, for better teamwork.
-more realism, but still make it unreal enough for better gameplay that rtcw1 offers. if u want realism u should play red orchestraor bf1942 mod forgotten hope or something similiar. realism can be painfull so dont overdose it.

anyway, by realism i mean:
-wounded enemies leaving trace of blood so you can see where
they ran to.
-reviving should take longer and there should be no
3-second invoulnarability.
-ragdoll effect
-more realistic movement, kinda like in bf2142 if anyone
played/plays it here...

-bigger maps
-more life-like environment. by that i mean better physics (havok anyone?) and things like ability to shoot through thin fences, doors, climbing trees, ability to grab and move objects like in HL2 or to kick things away, that way you could for example, in the middle of a gunfight in a some room when u have to reload ur weapon just kick a chair into the enemy and this way taking some hp away from him or if he gets hit in the head, maybe also killing him.

thats about it.

Nice list! I was beginning to wonder where this thread went to...

I believe everything I said I wanted to see for RTCW II (see first page of this thread) still holds true. Not much has been said about RTCW II this year, except a (fairly) recent interview with a few of the fellas over at id Software, which they said they're aiming to revolutionize the FPS genre with the next Wolfenstein and the like.

do u have a link to the page or sumthin? damn one thing i hate about id is that they always tease you by telling basicly nothing about what are they doing... if there's any word from them to be heard i wanna hear... well i like quake very much, i love rtcw (damn, about 2-3 years of my life went to nothing becouse of it... - but i kinda don't regreat it ) and i HATE wolf et - but that's splash damage's fault so i'm glad that id stayed away from them this time.

well, i just hope they don't "revolutionize" it to the point where you don't have feeling that you play wolfenstein game anymore.
