People Filing Complaints Against Lieutenants
 

i've seen medics have a little rant on here so i thought its about time a lieutenant did.i've been playing wolfenstein since it was released and overall its a great game with a lot of great people playing it,but i've been noticing recently that alot of people have been filing complaints when they have run into and airstrike or run into someones line of fire.most of the time i play as a lieutenant and sometimes when i call in an airstrike i unintionally kill a team mate,even though i've taken out five of six of the enemy i get a complaint filed.i get shot or blown up by my team mates and i will only file a complaint if they are a physco team killer,you say sorry and they still file a complaint.i am the sort of lieutenant that gives medics and everyone else for that matter 3 ammo packs without being asked and drop ammo at spawn points for the next reinforcements!

so all im asking is for you to give the lieutenants a break next time you get cought in an airstrike

I typically won't file a complaint against a lt airstrike. Typically its my fault for not seeing the smoke. However, sometimes they drop it in high traffic areas hoping to kill people, and they kill just as many of their own teammates. This pisses me off.

Rechargeing
 

It also seems that people belive lts never recharge and there allways hoarding the ammo packs:

Market garden,me and panzer sitting in shelled building in front of forward axis spawn(the truck).I'am crouch down behined some rubble and he's standing out in the street. We're pretty well protected,snipers above,other flamer/panzer market whores around(if you haven't played marketgarden,at one point the allies and axis forward spawns will be each at the end of a street,and one major path to the obj for axis at the center of this,and the path for allies to thier objs will go through middle axis bridge spawn,so flamers and panzers like to run up and just try to spawnkill like mad.)



Sldr: I need ammo!
me:(I just gave ammo to two medics): Rechargeing
Sldr: Ok
(Soldr stands there for 1.2 seconds before shooting me with luger and demanding ammo agian,bar isn't even far enough to drop one pack).
Me: I'am rechargeing!I can't drop ammo.(something to that extent.)
Sldr: (shoots me agian) stop hoarding it and give me some!

People allways think i'am hoarding when i say i'am recharging.I eventually got shot several more times form his darn luger so i dropped him the one pack and walked off to two medics i knew who would appericate my efforts more.


I'll admit to selecting teammates to give ammo to. Sorry,but i want that one good medic to stay alive longer then that lamer with the panzer whos score is 2 compared to the medics 10,for example.

I agree. I don't give people ammo packs anymore if they shoot me demanding ammo and then claiming i dont give ammo out. Some moron clan member (should've known better) shot me demanding ammo in the Trenches on the beach, and there was a whole war right around that area so I loaded myself with ammo and gave some around to another person and didnt have enough charge to give out anymore...so he kept shooting me demanding ammo...well, he got NOTHING from me and told him he can find himself another lt to give him ammo..he said I sucked and didn't know how to play...I said i was f'n recharging and wasnt prepared to stop in the middle of trenches to recharge and give you ammo...I received no reply afterwards.

I will shoot stupid lts who will at spawn leave without dropping ammo (I learned by being shot they will learn too). Even worse I've seen lts drop 4 ammo packs for themselves.

dont be dumb and shoot an lt cuz he is tryin to get back to were he was when he dies...and cuz he thinks a lonely guy at the spawn isnt as important as fueling his team and savin there lives....also dont wait by spawns...go to the feild and an lt will be there...if u shoot em they could be a good player but not look at there compass or ignore ur I NEED AMMO cuz they are trying to win or help...just a thought. he would need to give u three ammo paks to get ur panzer ammo to full dragnet :lol:

Now you know very well I never play panzer, and a lt not taking the zero time it takes to turn around and drop packs, means he is a moron. Morons learn by being shot. I love when FF is on, a good head shot will make them turn around, give ammo, then they get health.

We have a "Give you medic a break" thread and this is probably the "Give your Lt a break" thread...we'll more than likely see similar threads for Soldier w/Flamethrower, Engineer, etc., etc.

The point has been made over and over on this forum and will probably continue to be made but here it is again...this is a TEAM oriented game. If you can't play as a TEAM member, maybe you should play another game.

I usually play as a Medic and as others have been shot for med paks or have endured endless calls for "Medic" and all the guy needs is a half med pak to get back to full health. While he's shooting me or demanding paks, others are lying on the ground "dead". The team player understand priorities and works with all the other members to win as a TEAM. If we could work to get that message out to all players, MP will be a whole bunch more fun for all of us.

about 5 of the times i actually resorted to shooting an lt...he turned around and shot me to death an ran away...lts need to learn the compass and not be rambos but if lts spent time givin ammo to everyone while they were still...then everyone would die. The lt should drop ammo in the time of battle and a few before. Also the times ppl shot me for ammo, they were engs...big help there! :lol:

I guess I have been lucky when playing LT. When I first spawn i'll give all my ammo to medics first, then leave some at the spawn after I recharge. It's good to have that "hold on, i'm recharging" line in your console so you can tell your teammates whats happening. If anyone shoots me for ammo, they no longer get ammo, or I'll switch to engineer.

I agree,but an easy way to check is quickly check there score,as long as its not in the - minus region then usually they r not tk ing,what really pisses me off is the ones that vote u off when u have a score of like + 50 odds,i was kicked 4 no reason one time,and ill never now why,i mean some of my own team must have voted thats what got me,anyway i like to think its just kids,if not then its adults with learning disablities,so please dont vote any 1 off unless u followed them in speccy mode,because it might happen to you next time,,,,,,,,,,,,.over n out :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Nothing is worse than having a bunch of "kickers" who kick of players for no reason. Playing Beach one night, and there was one guy who was just tearing us up with a panzer. I really have no problem with panzers, or flamers, they are part of the game. Anyway, he wasn't TKing or anything, and this guy was doing a good job of defending against us. (he was humilatingly good) People started voting over and over trying to kick him and finally, the vote passed after about 5 votes. It was then I told them I don't enjoy playing with kickers and left myself.

As far as filing complaints against Leuts for airstrikes, if it was a very very bad choice, I might, such as throwing a smoke canister out the spawn area when his own team is trying to run through there. But normally, if I get blasted by an airstrike, it is my fault for not clearing the area.

Yup and it always amazes me that peps don't run as fast as possible away from ANY colored smoke (Friendly fire is NOT friendly). The airstrike is a little more challenging to get away from specially if the LT just bounced the cannister off your helmet (I DID file against that guy).

Artillery is easy to get out from under as there is a delay in the strike...back off, watch the pretty smoke and then go back to business...

Here's a hint for all those who are just discovering the unreal fun you can have in RTCW-MP - if you saw a guy just turn to a red puff, it's probably best to wait before going to where he was just standing... :deal: :deal:

Well get this I was on a server and the map was village and i was on axis...So our team is holding em back so i decided to go lt and go bomb there spawn ......Well I assume no axis made it past em cuz on the HOD they were all dead....SO threw it in there and THere was a guy in there on the axis ...He starts cussin me out and stuff but i did kill 5 allies.....Hes really made and complains against me and then Sorrta Tk's me by wounding me luckly i had some medics on my sside tat time....Well I went over to there secondary spawn and only allies where there Well I throw the canister and the Guy comes runnin outta the stairs i think and goes into the blast....Complains against me.....I had enough of this guy lol...so i tked him on purpose but guess wut the limit of tks was it was 6 so i was in the clear hehe...wierd how peeps get mad at LTs

another thing that pees me off is when i play lt on beach or dday 2 ive just respawnd and 20 yards in front some one asks for ammo you say im an lt.they instead of stopping, turning round to your mark, on the compass they carry on running ,shouting for ammo two or three then they get too the wall still minus ammo (cos they cant read a compass)then they type in slanderous team messages reckoning our parents didnt know each other GIVE THE LT. A BREAK please

I play a (L)quite a bit and I detest being shot by some jerk for ammo!

My point here is this though, I love to snipe when it seems to be needed. What I hate is when some bobo steps into my line of fire just as I shoot and low and behold, I am a team killer! Benn booted on the first time, several times!

This is the guideline I use, I always push (F2), with one exception:

If the same guy kills me several times, I push (F1) as a last resort.

HOW DOES IT HELP YOUR TEAM TO KEEP KICKING TEAM MEMBERS OFF FOR AN OBVIOUS MISTAKE???

Get with the program and play the game...
