Hey, what's with all the grandpas on here? I'm only 13, and I'm a pro gamer! Old people's hands are too veiny to be efficient. lol. Just kiddin' u guys. I'm glad people of all ages can play the same thing and enjoy it. And I hate tkers as much as you, which is why I play in non-ff servers. You impatient geezers know what I'm talkin about.  :frog:

As the Nazis say, and I quote, "Heh heh."

I'm 24

Man, when I was 13, I was doing really bad stuff. REAL bad stuff!!Even if I were to do it now, it still would be bad. It's kinda good to see that kids are doing other things with their time besides "bad stuff"" . But all I know is that I'll kill any teenager before they kill me. My MP40 owns you! That's just the law.....

Been a blast playing against all ages since demo.....

Thanks!

3g*CrunCH December 13th, 2002 06:13 AM

Bad stuff? Whatever do you mean?:uhm: I'm a pefect child, and I plan to keep it that way.:D

Rathius December 13th, 2002 10:32 AM

Drodgie_RIP_FM December 15th, 2002 08:08 AM

wow!! im 24 and i thought i was one of the oldest players around... nice to c some "oldies" enjoying the greatest online game.

Rathius December 15th, 2002 12:07 PM

You've been playing since pacman?
lol i've been playing since DOOM 2, and I thought I had played a long time!

Admiral8Q December 15th, 2002 01:31 PM

 I've been playing since pong (I had a pong console with two knobs that would move your rectangled up and down the screen depending on which way you turned it) and that asteroid game where your ship rotates in the middle on the screen and you had to blast the asteroids so they wouldn't hit you

Dr.H8 December 17th, 2002 02:17 PM

ive ben playing since the game whith two long vertical lines on each side and a "ball" going back and forth between them it was in 1980 i think:lol: (was it pong?)

Rathius December 17th, 2002 03:21 PM

1980 had better games than that. There was Tertis, Wheel of Fortune, Wolf 3D...
Probably Pong (Maybe 1970?: I need to brush up on Computer History)

[MX]$.T.F.U December 17th, 2002 04:40 PM

What age are RTCW gamers???

On one hand this news is good. I once again am all up in the middle :naughty: And on the other hand, his news is disturbing. I thought the excuse for all the Tk er's and Crap talkers was that they were young kids. LOL

derFuhrer December 17th, 2002 06:38 PM

Pong has been around since 1972 if I remember correctly, we had a pong too and I remember playing it. Not long after we got into the Atari 2600 which kicked ass at the time.

Dark Lotus December 17th, 2002 07:02 PM

I had Nintendo with R.O.B. The whole system with R.O.B, Gyromite and Duck Hunt was first at 250, if I remember correctly. I also remember a pc at a friends house was started up on a cassete tape....

apocalypse_kid December 17th, 2002 07:25 PM

Fond memories,

I too had an Atari 2600, also a pong machine, :D , then a commodore 64 with disk drive!! You could play real games on that (it was actually one of those 64/128 beasts, but the amount of time the 128 side was used was miserable. Then I got my first compatible, a laptop with gas plasma screen, sucked for games, followed by 486, pentium, celeron, duron and now athlon, just about the whole history of computing there. Never had a games console after the atari though. Can't wait for my 64bit hammer

A lot of years, a lot of computers.

:cya: :cya: :cya:

derFuhrer December 17th, 2002 07:45 PM

Pong > Intellivision > Atari 2600 > Comodore 64 > NES > SNES > 486/33 > Gensis > Intel P2 350 > AMD K6-2 300 > PSX > Dreamcast > AND Duron 900

0D1N December 17th, 2002 07:52 PM

ok wut the hell is hapening to this thread its supposed to be about how old ppl are, and this is a rtcw forum not some 5million year old pong game:uhm:

apocalypse_kid December 17th, 2002 07:53 PM

:cya: :cya: :cya:

apocalypse_kid December 17th, 2002 07:55 PM

Hi 0D1N,

We're measuring how old we are by how many puters and game machines we have had

derFuhrer winning at the moment - hwo do you rate

:cya: :cya: :cya:

0D1N December 17th, 2002 08:01 PM

Can someone look at my post/s in the tech help part of the forum. Trying to OC my video card.....Thanks

Rathius December 19th, 2002 01:49 PM

I went from a Pentium 1 MXX 200MHz with 64MB of SDRAM and a 2MB video card running WIN98SE to a Pentium 4 1600MHz with 512MB of DDR and a 64MB Geforce 2 running Windows XP.
8 times the speed, 8 times as much RAM, 32 times video memory...
I have had these systems
Commodore 64
Compaq Portable 8088 (4.77MHz yeay baby!)
386-33 converted to 486DX2-66
Pentium 1 100MHz
Pentium 1 133MHz
Pentium 1 MMX 200MHz (two of them)
Pentium 4 1600MHz

apocalypse_kid December 19th, 2002 06:25 PM

Still have one sitting on my shelf, never used it a friend gave it to me, it still works so I consider it a museum piece.

Hi

Shit, who cares about age. I just care about kicking ass. I'm 13.

derFuhrer December 23rd, 2002 06:41 AM

RTCW is "M" rated, surely it would attract older people. I wonder if the same case is for GTA3 too. Unfortunately people under the age of 18 manage to get these "M" rated games quite easily.

My uncle gets them for me. He knows that they aren't that bad, and it's ok to play them. He's one cool cat.

BTW My brother is 11, and he plays.
