The $1,000 price quote was no usage cap. Speakeasy.net doesn't put usage caps on their lines (thankfully). But since that's not money I have to spare at the moment despite two fairly healthy salaries coming into the home, you can imagine that the wife nixed it. Though if I could justify it by splitting the cost with other people... I wish I could drop $10K a month on something as frivolous as a T3 line for a gaming server. It would mean I would be able to help resolve world hunger. And buy myself a kick-tush game system, since my current rig isn't what one would call top-of-the-line. Off-topic rant... what the heck is Gates *doing* with all his money? What's the use in *having* that much? |
He just wants to brag to his pitiful amount of "friends" that he is richer than all the countries in the United Nations combined... |
I'm in Passiac Co. Not the ghetto part of it, the part that borders NY State. I meant g as in grand and I also added an extra zero to that; woops. Anyway, I can't see a good enough reason to have a T1 for a house. With that 1 thousand a month, I'd rather buy a Kia Sephia and drive it into my lake. That would be alot more fun. |
